Well, we finally did it! We went on a little vacation. I mean a real vacation - you know, when you drop the kids off at some one's house and go to a nice hotel and sleep all night, wake up late and do what you want all day. It was great.
We left the boys with Ben's parents and got a hotel room - actually, it was a hotel suite with a living room and kitchen. Nice. We went to a museum in Cincinnati, ate dinner at Red Lobster, and attended a Christmas concert at the Creation museum in Kentucky.
The boys had a good time, too. Lance actually slept through the night for the first time ever both nights we were gone. He has done it once since then for me.
I would strongly recommend this kind of break to all parents of young children. We will probably do it again before the next baby comes.

Congrats on the baby on the way! How far along are you? I think I need a vacation too!!! Matt,the kids, and I have moved back to Indiana! We have been back for a little over a month. I am still homeschooling Hope, she is in the 2nd grade now.

Aw! I didn'tknow you were expecting again! Congrats!!! Also, your vacation sounded fun, that's pretty neat how you went to the Creation Museum too, I love that place! TTYL.
