Well, we finally did it! We went on a little vacation. I mean a real vacation - you know, when you drop the kids off at some one's house and go to a nice hotel and sleep all night, wake up late and do what you want all day. It was great.
We left the boys with Ben's parents and got a hotel room - actually, it was a hotel suite with a living room and kitchen. Nice. We went to a museum in Cincinnati, ate dinner at Red Lobster, and attended a Christmas concert at the Creation museum in Kentucky.
The boys had a good time, too. Lance actually slept through the night for the first time ever both nights we were gone. He has done it once since then for me.
I would strongly recommend this kind of break to all parents of young children. We will probably do it again before the next baby comes.

Welcome
Welcome to the Qualls family blog. Now I can share with everyone the very funny, crazy and sometimes (ok, more than sometimes) frustrating events that can happen in a growing family with two silly, toddler boys. So, hopefully, I can keep you updated on the big and little events and accomplishments of our curious children, things we learn as parents and the things God has been teaching us about our children, ourselves and Himself.
